Print Design

• I will evaluate the complexity of the job and will submit a quote based on an hourly rate or estimate the entire job.

• My designs require the use of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and the almighty, good old fashioned paintbrush! My Mac is updated with Adobe Creative Suites in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, and Quark Express.

• I shepherd the designs through the proofing, editing, color correcting and printing processes based on client approval. I create the final digital mechanicals. Paper samples and inks are chosen for final production. The press ready designs are reviewed. Upon approval, I send them out for production.

• I am on location for press runs in the
US when available. It is my intention to obtain a color proof from the printer for approval before production.

Webdesign

• I average 60 - 100 hours on a 5 to 6 page website. Starting with designing a home page at $ 1250, each following title page is $ 600. Subtitle pages range from $ 200-400.
We use Dreamweaver, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash. Backend Databases and E-commerce are an additional billing.

• One site may average a home page with five to six additionally linked title pages and subtitle pages within. Typically included are Home|Profile|Works| Contact| News| and Sitemap. "Works" may have several linked subtitle pages of the same format showing a portfolio or production format.

• Initially, I speak with the client to get a feel for the look, client base and the ultimate function of the site. I sketch design layouts of the home page and the sitemap to get the site started. After the home page with the navagation bar is designed, it is previewed on the internet for style and content. The additional keywords, copy, links and title pages are designed around this format and gradually added. Any additional digital photography is available at an hourly rate.

• I will be responsible for updates and maintenance of the website and promotional pieces on an hourly or a monthly basis.

• The hosting fees are $360 for the registration, initial setup and the first year. Every following year is $250 per year.
